WHAT IS THE WIRELESS CIRCUIT

A modular training system. Built for total flexibility.

The Wireless Circuit is fundamentally different from every other ESA product. Where the ICON range and Precision Wall are fixed-format arenas and walls, the Wireless Circuit is a collection of four independent wireless modules — each with distinct technology — that coaches arrange across a pitch in any configuration they choose.

The result is a training system with no fixed footprint and no fixed format. Coaches use the 8 preset training modes or build their own drills using any combination of modules. The system is completely wireless, controlled from any smart device, and delivers real-time performance data from every panel — giving coaches measurable insight into passing accuracy, movement, shooting, and physical health regardless of how they've set it up.

Created alongside professional coaches at elite clubs, the Wireless Circuit is the only ESA product that can be configured to replicate any tactical scenario the coach has in mind — from passing triangles to dribbling courses to shooting drills to rehabilitation programmes.

Close control

The curved format brings the panels close — every drill demands clean first touch and controlled contact under time pressure.

Passing Accuracy

LED vibration sensors score every touch for accuracy. Players see immediately where their technique needs work — every session, not just at training.

Receiving technique

"Nowadays football is becoming more technically demanding. Players can practice their receiving techniques, which is one of the best assets to improve." — Adam Lallana.

WHO IS THE ICON Q FOR

Three audiences. One compact arena.

Home and individual use

The Q was built specifically for home use — fitting a garden, driveway, or indoor space where a full ICON arena simply isn't possible. A Houston player with a Q at home can train every day with the same technology their academy uses — not cones and a wall, but LED-targeted sessions that score, measure, and track every touch. For parents of competitive players, this is the most direct investment in their development available.

Academies and clubs

The Q is the most affordable entry point to the ICON range for clubs that want to introduce ESA technology without the cost or footprint of a full-size circular arena. Set up pitch-side or in a sports hall as a dedicated technical station — coaches can rotate players through it during training, and the data platform tracks individual improvement across every session.

Elite youth players

For a high school player targeting college soccer, the Q closes a gap that is real and measurable. Academy players in England train with ESA technology every day. Houston players targeting the same college pathway can now do the same — at home, every evening, with session data that shows exactly how their technique is developing over weeks and months.

"The circuit is an amazing system. When a ball comes my way it helps me look in every direction, scan the field, react quickly, and eventually also score with the gate module. I think it will help me improve exponentially."

Master Module

The control panel for any Wireless Circuit setup — essentially a Rebound Module that runs the entire system. Runs off battery or mains socket. The start point of every session configuration.

Tests: passing accuracy, shooting — plus controls all other modules in the session.

Rebound Module

Equipped with LED targets, timers, and vibration sensors for real-time feedback. Tests passing accuracy and sets up realistic shooting opportunities. The core building block of any Circuit configuration.

Tests: passing accuracy, first touch, shooting opportunity creation.

Pass-Through Module

Fitted with LEDs and beam breaker technology. Players thread a pass through the arch — or knock the ball through to themselves — to satisfy the target. Allows maximum fluidity during a drill.

Tests: weighted passing, through-ball accuracy, teammate passing and combination play.

Gate Module

Beam breaker fitted at waist height. Players must pass through with or without the ball to satisfy the target — simulating realistic dribbling and movement off the ball. Motion technology captures gate activity in real time.

Tests: dribbling, movement off the ball, run-making and player positioning.

TRAINING MODES

8 professionally designed programmes.

The Wireless Circuit comes with 8 professionally designed training modes built around specific tactical scenarios — built to develop a player's skill set around the demands of a real match. But coaches are not limited to the preset modes. The Circuit is built for total flexibility, empowering coaches to create their own drills using any combination of modules, measuring results through the data platform in real time.

Passing combinations

Passing sequences using Rebound and Pass-Through modules to replicate combination play under tactical pressure.

Awareness and scanning

Multi-module configurations force players to scan the circuit and process multiple active targets simultaneously — the same cognitive load as reading a live match.

Dribbling and movement

Gate modules track movement with and without the ball — replicating run-making, positioning, and off-the-ball movement patterns.

Rehabilitation

Controlled, low-impact return-to-play programmes — replicating match movements without full-contact risk. Tracks recovery benchmarks against pre-injury performance.

Shooting and finishing

Master and Rebound modules create realistic shooting opportunities — testing accuracy and technique from varied positions and distances.

+ 3 further modes

8 standard modes in total — plus coaches build their own drills using any module combination. The Circuit is designed to adapt to what the coach needs, not the other way around.

ESA DATA PLATFORM

Performance data at your fingertips.

An extra second here or there can be the difference between winning and losing. The ESA data platform allows coaches to get hands on with performance data from the Wireless Circuit — spot weaknesses, track improvements over time, and measure results from every training configuration.

The Wireless Circuit can be controlled using virtually any smart device — phone or tablet pitch-side, with real-time feedback visible throughout the session. Coaches don't need to be near the control panel to manage the drill; the whole system is designed to give coaches maximum pitch-side presence while the technology handles the measurement.

Injury rehabilitation

Return to play faster. Without the risk of recurrence.

The Wireless Circuit was nominated for a Sports Technology Award specifically for its rehabilitation capabilities — recognition earned from its use alongside professional coaches at elite clubs managing player recovery. The modular format allows physiotherapists and coaches to design controlled programmes that replicate match movements without the danger of full-contact training.

Players can track their post-recovery performance against their pre-injury benchmark — giving coaching staff and medical teams measurable evidence of readiness to return, not just a subjective assessment. For clubs managing player availability, this is among the most valuable uses of any ESA technology.
